The first bottles of Parxet Cava were made in the 1920s at Mas Parxet, itself with a winemaking history dating back to the 18th century. The name 'Parxet' itself is thought to be derived from an old French word for a small plot, or 'parcel', of vines.
Titiana is vintage Cava made from the rare Pansa Blanca grape, a local clone of Xarello in Alella, just north of Barcelona. Hand-harvested and fermented at a low temperature in stainless steel and oak barrels. This is classy Cava in every way, from the smart packaging to the crystal clear flavours of citrus, pear and herbs. Xarello in Cava brings body and structure, but Pansa Blanca in the limestone soils of Alella contributes greater acidity and therefore freshness to this rich, luxurious Cava.
