Vale da Capucha is a small farm (certified organic and biodynamic from 2015 vintage), north of Lisbon and just a few kilometres from the Atlantic. Young Pedro Marques is a fourth generation winemaker with experience in Portugal, California and New Zealand, and wholly committed to organic and natural winegrowing, irrespective of the challenges. He lost a third of his crop in the first year converting to organics. As Pedro says, he knows what it is like to suffer misfortune, having been a Benfica supporter for many years! All Pedro's wines are very pure, naturally made, unfined, unfiltered and minimal added sulphur, as well as being vegan and vegetarian friendly.
